Teller Supervisor
Full time position, Exempt, Sturgis location.
Northern Hills Federal CU is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Teller Supervisor. A summary of this position includes, but is not limited to, the following:
The Teller Supervisor assumes responsibility for providing efficient, effective and professional teller service to credit union members. Coordinates, directs and trains Tellers in providing a full range of financial services relating to the proper handling of cash and negotiable instruments. Responsible for implementing existing policies and procedures, and effective utilization of electronic equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements. Proactively promotes and supports the sales culture credit union wide.
Education & Experience: High school graduate or equivalent, with some college a plus. Thorough knowledge of credit union based teller operations and procedures. Knowledge of basic accounting. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Teller at a full-service financial institution. Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in some capacity.

Teller

The Teller is responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and cash advances. Balances each day’s transactions and verifies cash totals. Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served.
Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Previous teller, cashier or money handling experience preferred. NHFCU offers a competitive salary, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan, and more.
